Christmas scrap buster! Check out this Ghost of Christmas Past tutorial

Pretty much every quilter has scraps left over from Christmas sewing projects. The challenge is not all reds and greens are created equal. So while some reds looks great together in a line, they may look terrible next to the reds from another line. Same goes for the greens.

That is where Ghost of Christmas past is different. I created the pattern to be used in our first ever fabric exchange two years ago. And the beauty of it is the reds and greens alternate, so you never have two reds next to each other. That way you can use up Every. Single. Christmas. Fabric.

The other awesome part of this quilt is it is all made from 5-inch and 4 1/2-inch squares, so you can whip it up quickly without making five million teeny tiny little pieces.

Make sure you watch the free tutorial above to learn how to put this pattern together. And click here to download the Ghost of Christmas Past pattern. It is free until December 31, 2017.

  1. Thanks, Stephanie! It’s so nice of you to offer the pattern free this week! I hope that introduces a lot of new people to your business! If my budget weren’t so tight, I’d be on the site ordering batiks all the time. =)

  2. I am trying to obtain the free pattern. I had previously set up an account but it is telling me it is not valid. I have tried to create another account but it will not let me. Do I need to unsubscribe to the website and they add our website back in??????
