We are working with one of my favorite fabric designers for this month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie quilt. Pippa Shaw with FIGO Fabrics just came out with Grow, which is packed with bold colors and, you guessed it, motifs that remind you of working in the garden.
This is our third time featuring Pippa Shaw in Stashin’ with Stephanie and her fabrics are always a hit with you all as well. Her use of color is fantastic and she does a great job of combining the hero prints with some fabulous coordinates that help the main prints stand out.
In Flower Patch, the pattern I designed to go with the collection, we split the collection into greens/teals and orange/maroon by color value to create a flower block with petals and leaves that just pop.
The offset setting has the flower focus in the middle left side instead of the center, giving the quilt a modern look and feel to go with the modern veggies on the fabric. It really makes the quilt pop and I believe you’re going to love it.
