Baby quilt reveal
The gender neutral baby quilt I was working on has been delivered, and so has the baby. My friend gave birth to a healthy baby boy over the weekend. So now I can share detailed photos of it with all of you.
The pattern is really simple to put together. You just need a charm pack with at least 40 five-inch squares, a coordinating jelly roll and one yard of a neutral print. It’s my go-to pattern for baby quilts.
I cut four strips from the jelly roll in half length-wise and attached them to eight of the squares and then attached half square triangles to create the diamond look. Then I put the rest of them together in four patch units.
I quilted it with a meandering free motion quilting stitch.
I used the left over strips from the jelly roll to bind the quilt.
