Sewing room disaster
A few weeks ago I wrote that my sewing room was so messy I was too embarrassed to show you all a picture. Well, then I threw some more junk in it, decided I have no shame when it comes to quilting and took this photo.
I know, it’s bad. You can see a mess of laundry that needs to be done. UFO’s piled in the corner, some Goodwill finds and a quilted dog bed that my dogs would really like to lay on. Even the closet is in such a state of turmoil that I can’t actually close the doors right now.
I haven’t actually sewed in the sewing room for more than a month, probably two if I’m going to be completely honest. The last time I remember the room being spotless was when I took part in a progressive dinner party on New Year’s Eve.
But I’ve finally decided to do something about the mess and I posted the before photo here so you all can help keep me accountable. If I don’t post a sewing room tour on Monday with plenty of after photos featuring a clean, organized sewing room, I want you all to call me out on it.
So now I’ve shown you mine, will you show me yours? Tweet photos of the current state of your sewing room to @SSoebbing. I’ll share them here on a future blog post.
