One baby, one quilt
One quilt, one picture every Thursday and one baby growing up too fast.
I’ve been taking weekly pictures of Angela using the quilt my aunt made for her as the background. You can see bigger shots below. The idea is to document her subtle changes as she grows during her first year of life.
I got the inspiration from Clara’s Photo Project on Young House Love. They used a plain onesie and a different fabric background each week with their daughter, but I wanted a consistent background to help show scale as she grows from week to week.
My hope is to capture all those changes that you just don’t notice being with baby everyday, like the pants she was swimming in one week and busting out of the next, and the ever-developing range of facial expressions she is capable of. Eventually we’ll add sitting up and standing to the list, but for now I’m content with the little milestones.
