2014 Block of the Month
Alright quilters, it’s time to challenge your sewing skill set with the Quilt Addicts Anonymous 2014 Block of the Month.
Each month you’ll learn a new tips, tricks and efficiencies that will improve your quilting and give you the chance to try new blocks you might not want to make an entire quilt from.
You’ll learn how to make half-square, quarter-square triangles, double pinwheels and flying geese units from squares, tips for speeding up your cutting, how to measure and attach borders that aren’t wavy and plenty more, and it will all be free.
Each month I’ll post the instructions for a new block, and a video tutorial on how to make it.
Plus, you’ll have a quilt large enough for a king- or queen-sized bed when the year is over, not some dinky lap-sized sampler the dogs will drool over on the couch.
Bookmark this page or subscribe to the RSS feed and check back on January 1, for the first tutorial. First up is the center four blocks. I’m making two quilts in two colorways to help show how you can make this project your own.
