Pixelated Blooms is a very fun strip-pieced pattern that will allow you to bust your stash.
Follow the color combinations in the pattern when selecting fat quarters to create a square flower, or pull 2 1/2-inch strips from your stash to make it super scrappy in any color combination.
The techniques used are not hard, but you will want to label your pieces for a smooth finish.
This stash-busting pattern is part of the Stashin’ with Stephanie series, where Quilt Addicts Anonymous founder Stephanie Soebbing releases a new fat quarter pattern each month. Learn more at this link: https://shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/stashin-with-stephanie-2/
This month we worked with Anew by Tamara Kate for Windham Fabrics. Tamara grew up in the Caribbean, which influences her fabric design. Anew is filled with bright colors, modern florals and adorable ladybugs.
The color combinations look beautiful in the modern Pixelated Blooms with the hot yellows and oranges in the center for the “pollen”, blues and teals for the “petals” and greens for the “leaves.”
I hope you enjoy this pattern and fabric combo as much as I do!
