You have to see how I quilted this quilt!

My goal whenever I quilt is to accentuate the fabric and the quilt design. With Modern Trip Around the World, I love to do that with a combination of the Slim and Archie Rulers designed by Angela Walters for Creative Grids.

In the video I show you how to think through your quilt path before you even load the quilt on to make your quilting easier and faster. Then I show you how I use these two rulers in combination to create an arrow design that follows the path of the fabric progression.

In the YouTube version, we just cover the basic combination. Make sure to check out our Quilt Addicts Anonymous Academy version to learn how to turn it in three different ways, while avoiding unnecessary traveling.

The full course also includes a piecing tutorial, pattern discount and bonus real-time footage of me quilting four row all three directions so you can see exactly how I did it if you need more instruction.

We do still have kits of Modern Trip Around the World featuring Collage by Janet Clara for Moda Fabrics. Grab them at the links below.
