Join the first Quilt Addicts Anonymous fabric exchange!
I’ve been working on something fun behind the scenes and I’m finally ready to reveal it today! Quilt Addicts Anonymous will host its first fabric exchange!
If you all like it, I’ll do more, but here is the what sets the QAA Fabric Exchange apart from others you may participate in:
- I have designed an easy quilt pattern just for this exchange that quilters of all levels can complete quickly
- The fabric exchange fee will also include a neutral background fabric and shipping!
- If you finish the quilt by Christmas and post a photo to the QAA Facebook page, you could win a $50 gift card to Fabric.com.
For this exchange, we will be swapping the red and green fabrics to make the blocks. You will need to purchase (or pull from your stash) one yard each of red and green holiday fabric. You will cut the red and green fabric and mail it to Quilt Addicts Anonymous to arrive by Saturday, October 24. The fabric will then be mixed and shipped back to you with the cream yardage by the end of October. You will receive an email with further details when you sign up.
The pattern finishes 64-inches square, so it will make a perfect lap quilt to cuddle up under this holiday season.
You have until Friday, October 9, to sign up and pay your exchange fee for the Ghost of Christmas Past Fabric Exchange.
The opportunity to participate in the exchange has passed, but you can now purchase the pattern to start your own exchange or use up all your scraps from Christmas projects over the years. Click here to order the pattern!
Very nice video, well explained, clear and easy to understand, and a lovely quilt. I like the way you quilted it, too. I’m always interested in seeing how other people handle some of the same things I come across.
I missed this opportunity, but hope you soon host other fabric exchanges! This sounds like FUN< FUN< FUN!
There will be another one next month. Make sure you’re signed up to get email updates so you don’t miss it!
