Refraction is one of the first quilts I designed and I still love it to this day.
It uses just one 2 1/2-inch strip roll to create the center star. The triangles are strip pieced and then cut apart using an equilateral triangle ruler. Then everything is sewn together into large triangles and assembled using no Y-seams!
I sewed my first one together in a day … No joke … but this is totally doable as a weekend project. And it just looks fabulous in Kaffe. The bright colors will be fabulous to work with as the weather turns colder.
