June block of the month
We’re starting the final border this month. That means there are just four blocks to make each month from now until the end of the year.
This month we’re learning a new time-saving technique in the block of the month. Instead of cutting several teeny tiny rectangles, we’re going to sew them together as strips first then cut them apart. It makes the piecing go much faster. Just watch the video for the full instructions and demonstration.
Speaking of the video, I got new video editing software. That means the video is more succinct, while showing more detail of the tips and techniques I demonstrate.
As always I’m making the quilt in two colorways since fabric choices can change the look of the whole quilt. Just click here or on photo below to go to Craftsy and download the pattern.
