We’ve got lots of new quilty goodies today to share with you from our friends at FreeSpirit and Robert Kaufman. There are big bold, modern prints, healthcare heroes and shimmering butterflies.
First up is BioGeo-1 by Adrienne Leban for FreeSpirit. This one is a fabulous modern print that has several different sizes of what looks like a really awesome zentangle drawing. Whether you go for a color print or line work black and white, you can’t go wrong adding BioGeo-1 to your stash.
Then there is Frontline Heroes from Robert Kaufman. This line just has four prints, which makes it great for coordinated masks or a quilt to say thanks to the nurses, doctors and scientists who helped keep us all safe this last year.
I love the main design of nurses and doctors in scrubs flying through the air like superheroes and with their shadows forming the shape of a comic book hero with their capes flapping in the air. And Robert Kaufman really did a great job of making sure the doctors and nurses represented both men and women plus multiple ethnicities, because we are all in this together.
Lastly we’ve got pre-cuts and fat quarter bundles of Spring Shimmer by Jennifer Sampou for Robert Kaufman Fabrics AND the coordinates. I love this collection. It just makes me happy especially since we are looking at a mid-spring snowfall where I live in the Midwest today! The use of metallic in the fabric line and in the shimmery threads used in the Essex linen in the coordinates are just fabulous.
