Choosing your Fabric for a T-Shirt Quilt

We’re going to need some fabric to go in between our T-Shirts, called sashing and cornerstone strips. You’ll also need quilt binding and backing fabric and it is best when it all can coordinated with your shirts.

In today’s video we’ll go over how I choose fabrics to match with the T-Shirt designs and colors, what you’re looking for in sashing fabric, and you can watch me audition fabrics to go with the T-Shirts I am using in the quilt we’ll be making in this series.

Make sure you check out out T-Shirt Quilt Pattern. The second image shows the pattern back, which has all of the fabric requirements you will need to make sure you have enough for the size quilt you are making.

Also, just a reminder, that we are taking a break on posting videos in this series until May 2. We want to give you all time to order and receive your materials before we start with any cutting and sewing instruction.
