September BOM 2016 tutorial
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day! It doesn’t feel like it here in the Midwest where I am but fall will be here soon and that means it is quilting time again.
This month’s Block of the Month pattern is a small one. Finishing at just three inches square, I opted to use paper piecing so that all the little points will end up right where they are supposed to be. As paper piecing projects go, this is a fairly easy one, so watch the video tutorial above and follow along with the printed instructions and you’ll be done in no time at all.
You will need Carol Doak’s Foundation Paper to complete the paper piecing and if you make a mistake, you can tape the paper back together with Scotch Removable Tape.

I hope you enjoy this block! Happy Quilting!
