Straight line quilting on the longarm + Why I HATE channel locks!

Today I’m showing you how I used straight line quilting on the longarm to quilt Subway our latest Stashin’ with Stephanie quilt design.

I also tell you why I will use a ruler 100% of the time over channel locks in order to get perfectly spaced straight lines when quilting on my longarm.

If you don’t have a longarm, don’t worry. You can absolutely quilt straight lines on your home sewing machine using a walking foot. I think it was the perfect choice for this quilt because it is utilitarian, but also chic and modern, just like the fabric.

  1. Thank you for this video! I have similar tools for my long arm and just finished trying to do a quilt with the channel lock! The pain is real! Ha ha. I’m going to try this on my next quilt!
