April Block of the Month
It’s that time of the month and I’m technically posting the block design on the first Monday of the month. I’ve got seven minutes left!
This month is a nice easy break from the complicated blocks we’ve been doing so far this year. Made almost entirely of half square triangles, this block looks complicated because of the way the triangles go together, giving the appearance of diamonds. So your quilting friends will think it is super fancy, but you’ll know the truth.
As always, the there are free printable instructions to go with this month’s block. You’ll find all the cutting instructions, detailed piecing diagrams and fabric charts. If you’ve never downloaded a pattern or purchased fabric from Quilt Addicts Anonymous, you will have to create a free account to download the patterns. Just click here to create one.
There’s also a special coupon code to save 15 percent off the Stars in the Night Block of the Month Kit. With the code, you’ll be able to get all the fabric to make the quilt as you see it here for less than $10 a yard! That’s a crazy low price for hand-dyed artisan batiks.
