June Mini Block of the Month
It’s here! The Mini Block of the Month has officially launched. For those of you who haven’t been following along, the Mini Block of the Month, is a three-month BOM program for quilters who don’t have the budget to make a king-sized quilt or don’t want to make a year-long commitment to a quilt.
The quilt has three block designs, 16 total blocks and finishes 60 inches square. We’ll finish in August, so these colors will be perfect to cuddle up under this fall.
I spent last week cutting literally a mile of fabric to make the kits for this beautiful fall quilt they shipped this morning and now the video tutorial and pattern are available so you all can get started!
For June we will be making eight log cabin blocks in two colorways. Make sure you watch the video tutorial for some tips on how to cut all those strips really quickly using the Marti Michell method. It’s quick, easy and makes for really accurate piecing. Seriously, I sewed my block together in 10 minutes.
There are still kits available. This fabric is seriously beautiful. I know we think about batiks in bright colors, but these cream, brown and rusts are just gorgeous. Click here to get the kit. And click here to download the FREE pattern.

I love the quilt pattern and fabric but can not find where I can buy the kit and it will not let me download. It says I have it but will not let me go any further.

I don’t understand how to download the pattern after I have installed the prontovideoconverter.
Uela – You should never have to download any program besides Adobe Reader in order to view the pattern. If you are asked to download a program, it means you have malware on your computer that has been triggered by attempting to download a PDF. I recommend running a virus scan to remove it and uninstalling the program you downloaded. Once your computer is cleaned, you should be able to download the pattern without an issue.
The fabric requirements for the 2016 Mini block of the month pattern are not listed, can you post them or let us know when it will be available? Thanks.

Got my June blocks finished. Very happy with the quality of the kit and pattern. Looking forward to next month!
I can’t find the place to create an account. The place you said to click here does not work. I’ve gotten my material, but I can’t get to the patterns.
I am having difficulties getting the pattern because I can not get my new password accepted no matter how many letters, numbers, etc. I use. It just keeps rejecting the password as not difficult enough. Can you help?
The kit that I received has all dark orange fabric. I do not have any beige or off white. Should I have additional fabric?
