Easy Fat Quarter Friendly Hugs & Kisses Pattern! No Templates or Bias Block Edges

In this Stashin’ with Stephanie video I show you how to:
– Cut square super fast using the lines on your mat to measure
– Sew half square triangles from squares and trim so you always have perfect points
– How to join your half square triangle units into row so you never lose a point!

So even if you don’t want to make this quilt, there are lots of good tips and tricks that will make your cutting faster and your triangle points better, so check it out!

Normally the Hugs and Kisses blocks have a bunch of bias block edges or requires special templates, but Stephanie makes hers using entirely half square triangles. So no templates, no bias block edges and only two sizes of fabrics to cut from your stash!

Hugs and Kisses is the perfect quilt to create a scrappy rainbow with using your stash or the Me + You Batik line Stephanie Soebbing used in her original.

The pattern for this quilt is available in crib, lap, twin (pictured) and queen.

The fabric used for this quilt is Me + You batiks, the modern division of Hoffman Fabrics.
