We wanted to move in 2020 to a house that is better suited for our family now that there are four of us, but like so much else last year, that just didn’t happen. Selling a House + Buying a House + Moving + Pandemic just didn’t sound like a good idea.

We’re still in the tiny two bedroom house my husband and I bought when we were first married and for the past six years I have been sewing and filming videos in our sunroom. It’s been great, but it is also small.

Then when you add a baby to the mix … and all the baby stuff … and working/homeschool for a year and something had to give … and I lost my sewing room!

Watch how we transformed it from a cramped, overfilled sewing space to a fun, kids playroom with lots of bright colors and room for all the kids toys to have a place to belong that isn’t all over my house. Seriously my living room hasn’t been this clean since before I gave birth last year.

But don’t worry. I still have a sewing space at home … it is even smaller. And you’ll still get videos! We are transforming our brick and mortar shop into a video studio and it is pretty awesome. A huge upgrade from my sunroom.

We are planning our video content for 2021 and want to hear from you! I’ve created a survey and if you fill it out you’ll be entered to win a $50 shopping spree from our store, plus you’ll have a say in what type of videos we create this year to take your quilting to the next level.
