It’s time for a Stashin’ with Stephanie Quilt! Each month we release a new fat quarter-friendly quilt inspired by this month’s featured fabric collection in our Stashin’ with Stephanie subscription club.
Vintage Revisited was inspired by a popular 1930’s quilt design that arranges hand-stitched hexagons into a diamond shape.
This modern version ditches the time consuming hand-piecing and sews everything with strip-piecing, for a fast finish that shows off your favorite line of fabric.
And the best part is there are no fancy seams! The interlocking look of the blocks is created by including the squares for the tops and bottoms of the blocks in the sashing! So you just assemble everything in simple horizontal rows.
This pattern was also inspired by this month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie featured fabric, Arcadia by Pippa Shaw. This is the third time we have featured a collection by Pippa Shaw and the bright, cheery prints are always a hit.
