Easy nesting bags perfect for beginners! Trio Zip Pouches by Sew Many Creations

We’re wrapping up our Quiltmas in July celebration with a series of easy and fast bag tutorials. Each one is made with no more than half hard of fabric, interfacing and a simple zipper and or hook.

These are all beginner-friendly bags, so if you’ve never made one before, you can absolutely give this a go and have it turn out OK. And if you’re an experienced sewer, you can get a bunch of them made of for all your family and friends this holiday season.

First up we have a brand new tutorial for the Trio Zip Pouches by Sew Many Creations. I love these patterns because creator Jessica VanDenburgh is a quilter first. So she gets us and write instructions using terms and measurements we know.

The Trio Zip Pouches are a set of three nesting bags where you can alternate the lining and outside fabrics for the middle size to create a beautifully coordinated look.

They would make great travel pouches for cosmetics and toiletries and when you’re not using them they all fit inside one another for easy storage.

They’re super fast and easy to make, so they’re very easy to get together for gifts.
