We’re back with another Quiltmas in July tutorial! We’ve got another placemat idea and this time it’s the ever popular Jelly Roll Pillows & Placemat!
If you’ve quilted for a few years, you probably remember when the Jelly Roll Rug phase took over the quilting world. They were the hottest project to make for at least a year and we have a bunch of tutorials on every variation.
But I think the easiest and most long lasting of the options RJ Designs came up with was the pillows and placemats. With its small size, it is much easier to keep your strips flat and straight.
Plus the four layers of quilting cotton and batting make great insulation for hot dishes. And the coordinating coasters are adorable!
