Normally we host a 12 Makes of Christmas series in December. But this year we figured we’d switch things up and run it throughout the entire month of July so you all actually have time to make the fun projects AND gift them this holiday season.
We’re kicking this year off with a brand new tutorial for Quilt-As-You-Go Placemats using the June Tailor Jakarta Placemats. This super easy-quilt-by-number method makes for a very fun and fast project.
And the best part is when you are done piecing the top, you are also done quilting and ready to bind!
We have made up six samples and kits for you all to make at home. Each kit contains enough batting and fabric to make six placemats using the fabrics included in the sample
There are three holiday-themed kits from Snow Much Fun, a new Christmas line from Dear Stella. You can get one or all three variations to create 18 coordinated placemats to fit your entire family.
We also made up some food-themed placemats with two options from More Pie by Dana Willard for FIGO Fabrics and one option from Grow by Pippa Shaw for FIGO Fabrics. They’re all fabulous and perfect for summer.
