Sew Your Own Pull-On Pants & Shorts! Perfect for DIY Matching Pajamas

We got in some super soft holiday flannel from Northcott Fabrics and we thought it would make the perfect pajama pants.

So in today’s video Stephanie Brennan is back to teach you how to make pull-on pants and shorts using a pattern from Jalie. The straight leg pants pattern with patch pockets and an elastic waist is perfect for beginner garment sewers.

The pattern is sized for 18 months through women’s size 22. So it would be perfect for making matching holiday pajamas for the entire family. But you could also make it with lawn or linen for flowy summer pants or shorts as well.

And if garments aren’t your thing, the flannels are amazingly soft and would make an amazing quilt back.

These flannels didn’t shrink too badly when we washed them. But as a general rule, it is always good to order a little extra fabric and pre-wash it before using flannel in garments or for a quilt back.
