Quilting a Heart Border with a Full Line Stencil and Pounce Pad

I love using Full Line Stencils to create quilting designs that I either can’t freehand or to help create consistently sized and spaced out motifs. We get both in today’s quilting tutorial featuring the Heart Border Stencil from Full Line Stencil.

I show you how to plan your border out, mark it and make sure the corner also looks fabulous. Then we get into the quilting where you get to see me quilt in real time on my home sewing machine.

The Heart Border Stencil is perfectly sized to fit in 4-inch borders, which is a very common size used for quilt borders. I think you’re going to love it, and make sure to check out our tutorial on the I Love It! quilt stencil that I used for our sample center.

And you can take our FREE course on Intro to Free Motion Quilting to learn how to master free motion quilting on your home sewing machine or longarm.
