Time-saving tip: How to cut strip sets quickly

Whenever I’m cutting a new quilt I just want to get to sewing. So whenever I have multiple strips to cut to the same size square or rectangle, I use the mat to measure so I can cut them all at the same time.

By laying the strips out along the inch lines on the mat and using ruler on the top and bottom of the mat to measure you can cut several pieces at once, speeding up the cutting process so you can start sewing sooner.

This process make a whole lot more sense when you can see it instead of read it, so I created a video to show you how to cut your strip sets quickly. Check it out and get to sewing faster on your next quilt.
