Modern Bargello Quilt Tutorial using Fat Quarters! Watch How to Make Frequency

This month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie pattern is my favorite kind of quilt … one that looks super complicated, but is actually really easy to make. The modern bargello style quilt features small pieces, but it goes together super fast because it is entirely strip pieced.

Seriously, once you get your fabric tubes together, you are practically done with all of your rows for this quilt. We got the one you see here together in just over a week including the quilting. And no, I don’t just quilt all day. If I get a couple hours in a day, I am pretty lucky.

This quilt uses 12 half yards of fabric, or 24 fat quarters (two of each print) in one colorway. And the best part, there are very few seams to match, so you can get this quilt together super quick.
