Easy star meander quilting design … Perfect for patriotic & kids quilts

It is summer … almost. And that means it is time for some patriotic quilting projects. And today we’ve got a quilting stencil that is perfect for all of your flag themed quilts, #40070 Seeing Stars Overall from Full Line Stencil.

This stencil is a combination of a very basic meander stitch, with a few stars thrown in here and there. It is a great beginner stencil and looks fabulous on patriotic quilts and kids quilts.

In today’s video I show you how to mark your quilt top, which chalk colors are best for red, white and blue quilts, how to use registration marks on the stencil to line your design up and, of course, how to quilt this fun, fast and easy design.
