It’s time to bust your stash again with Bling, a fat quarter-friendly quilt that is part of the Stashin’ with Stephanie series.
This pattern was designed with Social by Melody Miller of Ruby Star Society for Moda Fabrics. The line is a mix of big bold prints, and small supporting blenders. So the block features one large diamond and five smaller ones surrounded by a sashing strip to give the eye a place to rest.
If you haven’t done 60-degree diamonds before, this quilt is a great introduction to them. The techniques are not too challenging for first-timers and we go over how to cut all your pieces, sew them together into blocks and then how to join your rows on the diagonal.
