In today’s video we go over how you can use a parallel lines stencil to create consistently sized quilting designs in your borders. Stephanie will show you six designs you can practice that fit perfectly inside a 2-inch border!
All of these designs are fully customizable, so you can alter the size and scale to fit whatever quilt you are working on. Stephanie goes step-by-step showing you how to mark the parallel lines on your quilt, draws out each design and then gives you tips on how to quilt it.
This video is great to follow along with as quilting improvement exercise. Just piece together six 2 1/2-inch strips, create a quilt sandwich, grab your stencil to mark your 2-inch parallel lines and start making your free motion quilting consistent, even and fabulous.
