We have some fabulous new modern quilting fabrics to share with you today from Northcott, FreeSpirit and FIGO.
First up is a fabulous digitally printed Modern Love by Deborah Edwards and Melanie Samra for Northcott. Don’t think of this as a Valentine’s Collection. While there are two “Love” prints, the majority of the line features beautiful digitally printed florals in rich colors. They’re absolutely stunning.
I just love the panel that is only available as part of the fat quarter bundle, and the 108″ wide back. I may need to grab a few yards for my own stash if you all don’t grab it up first.
Then we have Just Kitten Around by Monika Forsberg for Anna Maria’s Conservatory/FreeSpirit. I had the pleasure of speaking with Monika last year when we featured one of her collections for Stashin’ with Stephanie.
Just Kitten Around is an adorable collection featuring sophisticated kittens in a village scene. The panel reminds me of one of Monika’s silk scarf designs and it would make a beautiful panel at the center of a quilt. Then like the true artist she is, Monika uses the designs throughout the rest of the collection, creating fabulous coordinates.
Lastly we have Honey Bloom by Laura C. Moyer for FIGO Fabrics. This sweet fabric is all about the bees and would be great for any gardener as the full collection used in a quilt, or split up into pink and blue colorways for a baby quilt. The motifs are just so sweet and lovely, you can’t go wrong with them.
