Rulerwork 101 – Straight Lines and Triangles with the 4-n-1 Ruler by Natalia Bonner

Get an intro to using rulers to create stunning quilting in today’s video. I am demonstrating on my APQS Lenni, but you can also do rulerwork on a home sewing machine. The process is a little different, but the concepts are the same.

I absolutely LOVE rulerwork because you are able to create truly stunning designs without too much fuss once you get the hang of placing the ruler and moving the sewing machine next to it. I believe it makes me look better than I am every time.

Learn what you need to get started, see me create some stunning designs just by quilting straight lines, and learn how to quilt straight lines without marking using the 4-n-1 Quilting Ruler by Natalia Bonner from Natalia Piece n Quilt.

I was hoping this was going to be the new BOM! Can’t wait for the big reveal!

I started using ruler work in my quilting and I am very happy with the results. It’s also much easier on my shoulders and back (which is a big deal for me), so I can quilt longer. Glad to see you doing some tutorials with them.

Unfortunately, the lighting made it very difficult to actually see what you were doing, but it was helpful when you traced it out with your finger after you stitched it.
Hope to see more on ruler work.

    Merry Christmas!
